  • Application and tenancy information — information you submit on rental applications, leases, and management agreements, and through your resident or owner portal.
  • Property and account information — units, leases, payments, maintenance requests, and related records.
  • Website information — information you submit through forms on our website, and standard technical data such as browser type and pages visited.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and manage property-management services, communicate with you about your account and service requests, process payments and applications, coordinate maintenance, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and improve our services.

SMS / text messaging and mobile information

With your consent, ValueBuilt Property Management sends account- and service-related text messages to the mobile number you provide. Consent is obtained when you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages — for example, when you sign a lease or property management agreement, or when you submit a rental application or set up your resident or owner portal account.

Message types include rent and payment reminders, maintenance and work-order updates, lease and renewal notices, appointment and tour reminders, account notices, and replies to your support questions.

Mobile information is never shared for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who support our services (for example, our messaging provider) is permitted solely to deliver the messaging service. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as our property-management software, payment processors, screening providers, and messaging provider), with property owners as needed to manage their properties, and when required by law or to protect our rights. As stated above, mobile opt-in data and consent are excluded from any such sharing.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update your contact information or communication preferences by contacting us. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails.
